I am Hope Marshall nee Wall a self taught, hereditary photographer.
My vision starts with a God given talent to see beyond the veil of daily life and reveal the undercurrent.
Blossoming confidence brought me to the United States from Canada in 2001. My Husband Joseph and I and our 2 daughters; Miranda and Kendra, make our home near Evans Mills NY, along the edge of old Perch Lake.
We are a military family so we have seen our fair share of sacrifice and difficult situations. One such scenario had us scheduled to move to Alaska in Dec of 2007, my husband’s orders were cancelled and we found our new home on native land.
A sacred place with many photographic opportunities, I often say; “I don't need to go anywhere but my own backyard, it‘s all right here“. But my keen interests in History and travel have me adventuring, camera in hand. My catalog of artistic images spans the country sides of Jefferson & Lewis Counties of New York , Peach County , Georgia and Renfrew and Lanark Counties in Canada. My portfolio expands weekly, and I am open to comments and suggestions.
I search for signs of ancient life still living and waiting to be rediscovered.
I hope to preserve the memory of human life with portraiture. Prolong the dreams of the past with my artistic images of historical buildings and properties . Promote my fellow entrepreneurs with my freelance promotion work.
I am a published writer and enjoy adding my special touch to Greeting Cards with my poetry. I am a member of The North Country Artists' Guild and ribbon winner at the Guild's 60th Annual Art Show.

Paddock Arcade Fall Farm & Craft Market
Starting Wed Oct 15 until Dec 17th, I will have a table displaying my photography, seasonal and event greeting cards, jewelry and lavender and camomile sleep sachets. The market opens at 10 a and runs until 4p. There are alot of terrific vendors with a wide variety of wares. The building is interesting in and of itself. The oldest continuously operating covered mall in the United States. Although there are older arcades, the Paddock has seen uninterrupted use since it opened in 1850. The arcade is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In the 1920s, a large section of the Paddock Building was demolished to make way for new construction. Around this time, the arcade received a translucent, steel-and-wire-glass dropped ceiling between its second and third stories, which still allowed light to filter in from its glass roof. The merchants do a great job of drawing attention to the ceiling by making seasonal displays which focus your eye upward.
Starting Oct 13 I will have images for sale at the Paddock Boutique Gifts, located in the Paddock Arcade.
Open 10-6 Mon thru Sat.
