Praise for the songbird

One from the nest is now an angel on the wing. A song from a heavenly perch.Awake in the morning to the air filled with song.

Spring green all around. Her notes will be heard, a little bit louder, a little more merry.

A message of grace and contentment. Hope for your heart and peace for your mind.

One from the nest, but yet it is not empty, many to sing praise for the songbird.

Transcending Ego

Art is about sharing your soul.

It is passion, temptation, a storm .

Art is a fountain of adventure.

Rushing water with a welcome fascination.

Art is a vessel within our orbit.

It is devotion , memory, a new beginning.

Art is nurturing new talent, it is confidence emerging.

A personal portrait of light and life, night and day.

Painting with the camera where Buddha sat.

Art is a bird singing after a storm.

It is looking at you for renewal of inspiration,

A fine view.

Art is harmony and balance with just a glimpse of magic .

It is winter; spring, summer and fall.

A stream of unity bridging into the white open.

Art is freedom.

It is blue water of frozen lake,

Sky, unseen and waiting for morning glow and sunrise.

Garden of The Great Spirit-Poster

The early morning mist drapes the earth .

Birds circle and sing the good news of the day.

A ball of fire brings colors into focus .

The fog is slowing receding leaving foot prints of green as it goes.

Sky and water partners in blue.

Clouds ripple and wave, mimicking the landscape below.

Closer to heaven with every foot above sea level.

Proportionally placed to love all that has been given ; earth ,wood, water and sky.

The sunset is a sacred ceremony .

The horizon is aflame , sky and water reflecting an orange glow.

Peace settles in , it is the reward of the day.

All cares slowly washed away like drift on the shore.

Critters and crickets humming the river to sleep .

The stars flicker like sparks from a campfire .

The galaxy a tendril of smoke carrying the message of the day.

Thank you for this life in the garden of the Great Spirit.

A Prayer for Prosperity

In your day you were considered “the ideal city” and my you were so pretty. “The garland city” with lush green parks, wide promenades and buildings of historic worth.

Pioneering minds contributed to your growing culture; farmers, politicians, inventors , architects, innovating businessmen , tradesmen and soldiers of war.

The trees that surround you made a trade of its own. The Lumber Barons built their fortunes on the shores . The mighty Black River cuts thru and leaves its mark on the city. (more…)

My Conscious Awakened

We follow the slope down hill.

An ancient craggy fortress lives to the left.

The light is dancing, reflecting the soul of the water.

The landscape is littered with grey rounded pebbles, like faces with mossy hair.

On the beach a solitary seat in the midst of the rubble , it is wood imitating stone.

Green and tan furry squares in the shallow wake .

I have captured the picture , now on to the next take.

We turn away from the ancient glacier lake and start the procession uphill.

In front of me an apple , fallen and disregarded, I have an idea.

No coincidence, no happening by chance, part of the plan , divine and interceding.

The apple is placed on the limestone altar.

The forces of nature cause an ebb then a flow.

A swirling of consciousness around the frame of that day.

I learn from the lake .

With something so simple, an apple, an offering , my conscious awakened.

The Fair Winter Friend

Mother-nature shows off her jewels this season.

Ice covers the branches like diamonds on a pale lady, dripping into earrings of glass.

Winterberries; are a cluster of rubies.

Pearls from heaven leave a luster; an iridescent glow.

The landscape is renewing under this clean, white slate.

The wind drifts over like a silken, silver snake.

Dressed up for the ball, lakes and rivers are a carpet of quartz crystal.

Jewels of the season, she wears them well.

Have you ever seen a native walk, one foot, two foot, sure foot, proud foot.
Always one step ahead without trying. Always in the right place at the right time.
One foot in America, one foot in Canada.
What separates us, a visible line of water and wood, stone and steel.
What connects us an invisible line of union .
What rules us, a ghost law; we are all walking the home of our native land.
One foot sure, one foot proud.
The People are the same, they breathe, eat, sleep, love.
The land shaped by glaciers of an earlier time.
The history influenced by conquest and war.
One is sure, one is proud.
Uniting the sure and the proud an undercurrent of life, an ancient life, still living.

The Sun is life, I see the grass is moving , breathing as we do, eating as we do, sleeping as we do. Loving not as we do. The earth loves all, we do not.When the flowers are sleeping, the Moon is giving.
The mystery of it all is not the we are so different, it is that we are so similar.
The earth loves us, but do we love it? The earth shows us daily .
A bird by the road side swoops the approaching car, an omen of safe travel.
Man is a bird, we defy gravity ,swoop and let down.
The mountains a symbol of foundation, solid and stationary to the eye, but if you look , you will see that the mounds are morphing with the sun. They are changing before our eyes, but do we see? Life is changing.
Man is mountain grounded by the earth.When the flowers are sleeping, the Moon is giving.
Messages through the living from elders gone to past.
We are of the earth, we must be of the earth. Sun is life. Moon is wisdom .
The day is for seeing, the night for knowing.
A day of action and a night of rewards. You must simply stop to see.
Crossing the border, it can be easily done, declare , make aware, carry on your way.
We must know that the law of ghosts is what binds us.
The earth will show us knowledge , if we live our lives in harmony.
We must look, we must see.

It is apparent to me,God is the ghosts of our ancestors.

We walk their home on native land.

One foot sure, one foot proud.

Autumn

Autumn

Warm summer nights they are slowing retreating.

This is a time that is so misleading.

An Old story, a new story, moving on to full glory.

The palette is strokes of brilliance, bursts of yellow, orange and red.

We set by the hearth, and preserve the Sun.

Weaving the threads of the cycle of seasons, were one is ending another begins.

Hot summer days they may be fleeting but it doesn’t worry me, my heart is still beating.

The Collective Health of the Living

The myth of modern society is that humankind must conform to a set of rules .

The institutions that we enter either by choice or by birth right are a mold which we are expected to fit into.

They tell you “no”, you cannot do it this way, you must do it “OUR” way .

Nonsense.

That is the myth.

The truth, when you break just one pattern that is either inherited or learned you are free.

You can heal you ,you can rule you.

In that freedom you learn that God is in you, in each and everyone of us.

When they tell you “NO”, you must find a way around.

Look to the past to find your future.

The earth and man and all living things are organic.

In organic matter you can find your way back to who you are.

The people that tell you “no” do so because they want money.

The people that tell you find another way know that the good of one living entity is the good of living entities.

Unlock this and you can learn to live a healthy life in the confines of society .

The crutches you use to deal with your daily life will no longer be of use.

When you feel and know that God is in you , the constraints of duty fall away.

The act of doing takes on new meaning.

You will be living for you .

The strength of the collective health of all that are living is omnipotent.

Better for me ,better for you. Better for us all.
